The FCC has just confirmed that has been talked about recently: the Asus Transformer Book T90 now has a Bluetooth keyboard dock, not of the type similar to Asus or Acer T100 Switch 10. The T90 Chi, along with similar T100 T300 Chi (already seen at Computex in June 2014 and now ready for final distribution) is one of the new Asus CES 2015 ‘s next week.
The MSQ-T90CHIDOCK certification follows by MSQ-T100CHIDOCK. The FCC documents now made public offers no more information or technical details, but we can confirm the presence of Bluetooth connectivity to the base of the keyboard. The size of this ultraportable Bluetooth keyboard should remain around 8.9 inches. We do not have technical information at present, but we think the use of SoC Intel Core M processor will mean increase the price to the end user. The T90 Chi keyboard is expected to feature a refined frame similar to the T100 & T300 (6.8 mm thick, weighing about 550 grams).
The use of a link via PIN seems to not be available and also the use of a full size USB doesn’t seem possible.
